Payment Status Chart

See at a glance how many of your project's payments are paid, still to pay or overdue, in a doughnut chart that follows your Budget Sheet, Table or Tracking List. When a payment's status changes, the chart updates.

Adding A Payment Status Chart

  1. Click on the project page where you want the Payment Status Chart to be added, and type / to open the element menu
  2. Search for Payment Status Chart
  3. Select it to add it to the page

Adding A Data Source

The chart shows your payments once you've connected the element they're in.

  1. Click Choose Data Source
  2. Select a Budget Sheet, Budget Dashboard, Table or Tracking List
  3. Click Connect

To connect a different one later, hover + on the chart and select Update data source.

The Statuses

From a Budget Sheet or a Table, the chart sorts each payment by its status into three groups:

  • Paid: A status with "paid", "complete" or "done" in it
  • Overdue: A status with "overdue", "late" or "delayed" in it
  • Pending: Everything else, like "Not paid" or "Partly paid"

From a Tracking List, it shows the list's own four statuses: Not paid, Partly paid, Paid and Overdue. From a Budget Dashboard, it shows one of the dashboard's charts with its amounts, and connecting the whole dashboard adds a Payment Status Chart for each of them.

Hover a part of the chart to see how many payments are in it. The chart also shows on your project's client revisions page, under Project overview.

Using A Payment Status Chart As A Data Source

A Table can show the chart, and a To Do List, To Do Kanban, Content Calendar or Timeline can add it to a task. Hover + on the chart and select Copy connection ID to find it quickly in their list. They update when the chart changes.
