Photo Selection
Let your client pick their favourite photos from a shoot and approve them, then send them the high-resolution files, without a proofing service or a transfer service on the side.

- Search for Photo Selection
- Select it to add it to the page
Adding Photos
Hover + and select Import file to upload photos, or Pick from inventory to add photos you've already uploaded.
On every plan, you can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG, BMP, AVIF and HEIC files. On Studio and Pro, you can also upload TIFF, GIF and APNG files, and RAW files: CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, ORF, RAF and PEF, plus DNG, RW2, RWL, SRW, 3FR and IIQ on Pro.
Formta converts each RAW file into a picture that shows in any browser, so there's no converting to do on your side, and your client sees the converted picture. Keep original RAW files is selected when you upload them, so the originals are kept for the high-res delivery. If you clear it, only the converted picture is kept.
Sending The High-Resolution Files
When your client has selected and approved their photos, send them the high-resolution files. Click the paper plane icon on the Photo Selection, or the one in the Deliver column beside the project on the Projects page, to open Send High-Resolution Photos. The photos your client selected are already selected for you. Your client gets an email with a download link that's valid for 7 days. See High-Res Delivery.
Using A Photo Selection As A Data Source
A Moodboard or a Table can show the photos. In a Moodboard, select one photo, every photo with the status Client selected, or the whole Photo Selection. With Client selected, the Moodboard adds new photos as your client selects them. Hover + on the Photo Selection and select Copy connection ID to find it quickly in their list.
