Text Editor

Write notes, descriptions and any longer text right on your project page, with your own fonts, and link it to the people and the work it's about.

Adding Text

Text needs no element of its own. You write it right on the page.

  1. Click an empty spot on the project page where you want the text
  2. Start typing

To open the element menu instead, type / at the start of a line.

Formatting

Select the text to format it in the toolbar above it:

  • Font: Select a font, or click Add Font to upload your own. Click the font button and press ↑ and ↓ to try the fonts on your text one by one
  • Font size
  • Bold, Italic, Underline and Strikethrough
  • Heading
  • Bullet list and Numbered list
  • Align left, Align centre, Align right and Justify
  • Font colour and Highlight

You can also add a link or a picture to the text from the toolbar.

Placeholder Text

To lay out a page before the real text is written, add placeholder text.

  1. Click the placeholder text button in the toolbar
  2. Type how many characters you need, spaces included, up to 5,000 at a time
  3. Press Enter

Spellcheck

Turn spellcheck on or off for the text in the toolbar. It checks the language you've set in your browser or on your computer, and only works if spellcheck is turned on there.

Mentioning People And Linking To Your Project

Type @ and the start of someone's name, and select them in the list. They get a notification, and clicking their name in the text opens a conversation with them in your inbox.

Type # and the start of a name to link to an element, a task, an event, a meeting or an inventory item in the project, and select it in the list. The elements are listed under the page they're on. Click the link to go to it, so your team can open the moodboard or the meeting the text is about.
